Only ~11% of French adults own crypto in 2026. The 89% untapped won't be won by ranking higher on a comparison table. They'll be won with education, trust, lifecycle and community: owned channels, not paid brand spend.
Binance just earned the asset that matters most for French first-time buyers: full MiCA CASP via its French entity. That's the trust hook. It's under-communicated today, and it needs a Campaign Manager who ships it in French, every week, across every lifecycle stage.
The opportunity: don't fight for existing crypto users. Build the funnel that turns curious-but-blocked French adults into active Binance traders.

Untapped base. Curious, blocked by complexity and trust. Won with lifecycle, education, MiCA trust, and the Market Brief newsletter. Long cycle, compounding.
Higher intent, higher AUM. On Coinbase, Crypto.com, self-custody, SwissBorg. Won with product depth and the new French wallet declaration law that weakens self-custody. Short cycle, higher LTV.
Shared insight: AUM per cohort is the metric that matters beyond WAT. A $100 user and a $10K user need fundamentally different treatment. Without AUM segmentation, every campaign underperforms.
France now requires declaration of self-custody wallet holdings above a threshold (DAC8). Paperwork burden moves from zero to non-trivial. Biggest opportunity for a custodial-with-MiCA exchange: "Binance reports for you." Flips the self-custody narrative. (See EXP-04 in the backlog.)
Binance is the only global top-3 CEX that earned its EU passport through a French entity. Coinbase (Ireland), Crypto.com (France but lighter), Kraken (Ireland). "Licensed in your country, passported through the Republic" is a positioning asset Binance hasn't yet capitalized on in French media.
Ongoing AMF AML checks slow creative velocity. PFU 30% deters first-time buyers. No framing trick fixes this. Answer: compliance review built into the calendar from day 1, tax story turned into an educational asset (cost-basis reports, yearly prep guide).
The Campaign Manager's job is to plant a CTA at every ring. Inner rings: high intent, low reach. Outer rings: low intent, massive reach.

The Head of Growth has already defined the NSM. I'm not here to tell them what it should be. Below is the tree I'd assume on day 1, validate on day 2, and adapt. Structure matters more than wording.
Format: "Because X, I believe Y will cause Z, measured by M, if I see T in D." Scored with ICE (Impact × Confidence × Ease, 1-10).
pp = percentage points (absolute delta). "+6pp" means 52% → 58%.
Because new FR signups who don't trade in 7 days have >70% D30 churn probability, I believe a 7-day FR lifecycle (email+in-app+push) with MiCA trust hook, PFU tax guide, and Referral Lite nudge will cause 7-day activation to lift, measured by first-trade rate, if +6pp in 3 weeks.
Because FR crypto users consume Journal du Coin/Cryptoast newsletters but Binance has no FR weekly insight product, and informed users trade more (agency = frequency), I believe a weekly "Market Brief FR" (macro + top 3 moves + deep-dive + in-app CTA) will cause trades/user to lift, measured vs control, if +15% in 6 weeks.
Because ~18% of FR deposited-users go dormant within 60 days and generic winback converts at 3% vs 10%+ for personalized portfolio-snapshot winbacks (Braze), I believe a 4-segment email (portfolio down/up/small/high) with 1-tap reactivation and concrete $-value hook will cause reactivation to lift, if +5pp over 3% baseline.
Hormozi "$100M Leads" frame: most valuable audience = the one already acquired. Concrete loss beats brand reminder.
Because DAC8 makes self-custody less attractive for FR retail, and Binance France has MiCA CASP, I believe a "Sovereignty without paperwork" campaign targeting MetaMask/Rabby users with FR tax comparison + 1-click migration will cause self-custody migrations to lift, if 500+ qualified migrations in month 1.
Because France has one of EU's largest private-banking pools and I observed no dedicated Binance Wealth FR GTM, I believe a 50-person Paris event with David Prinçay + gated whitepaper + wealth-manager breakfasts will cause wealth-manager interest, if 5+ LOIs within event+14 days.
